AAMCHA AUTO PRIVACY POLICY


This Privacy Policy, applicable for the Aamcha Auto website and/or mobile application (the “Platform”) is an electronic agreement formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder (as amended till date). This privacy policy is a legally binding document between the user and Aamcha Auto. The terms of this privacy policy will be effective upon your use of the services provided through Aamcha Auto website or application and will govern the relationship between user and the Aamcha Auto for all the usages of the Platform.


1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND USE OF INFORMATION


We collect certain information including certain personal information from you (a) when you use or register yourself on the Platform, (b) when you use our services, such as location, Platform usage and device data; (c) when you communicate with us through inquiries, grievances or feedback, etc. We’ve summarized this information in the chart below. This shows for each category of information collected, the types of data we use for each purpose, the purposes for which Aamcha Auto uses data.

    • b. To Enable Communications Between Drivers and passengers.
    • c. For verifying users identity & drivers eligibility to provide transportation services.

  2. Location (Precise & Approximate location data collected from drivers devices):
    • a. To enable user/passenger.
    • b. To determine pricing for a ride.
    • c. To detect unsafe behavior and prevent fraud

  3. Device Data ( Hardware models, address or other unique device identifiers, operating systems and versions, software, languages, advertising identifiers, device motion data, and mobile network data):
    • a. To perform internal operations

  4. Usage Data (Platform access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, browser type, and app crashes and other system activity):
    • a. To enable services and enhance features of the platform

  5. Communications Data (Time and date of calls, call recording, texts and in-app messages between users enabled through Platform and the content of text and in-app messages):

2. RETENTION


All information including personal information collected mentioned under this Privacy Policy shall only be retained by Aamcha Auto for as long as is necessary to perform its obligations as set out under Terms of Service and in compliance with the applicable statutory/ regulatory requirements and no longer. Users may request deletion of their accounts at any time. Aamcha Auto may retain user data after a deletion request due to legal or regulatory requirements or for reasons stated in this policy. The length for which Aamcha Auto retains user data may further be determined by legal and regulatory requirements, purposes of safety, security and fraud prevention, or by issues relating to the user’s account such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute.


3. RIGHTS


You shall have the right to access your profile on the Platform at any time to add, remove or modify your information that you have provided, after which point the Aamcha Auto shall only use such revised information. Your addition, removal or modification of the information shall not prejudice any prior use by the Aamcha Auto thereof. You shall, however, commit to only providing information that is true and accurate.


4. DATA SECURITY


Aamcha Auto shall take all organizational and technical measures required under any law or statute applicable to protect the confidentiality and security of the information in their control. Aamcha Auto shall ensure that data is encrypted in transit as well as at rest.

We may occasionally update this notice. If we make significant changes, we will notify users in advance of the changes through the Aamcha Auto or through other means, such as email. We encourage users to periodically review this notice for the latest information on our privacy practices. Use of our services after an update constitutes consent to the updated notice to the extent permitted by law.


8. REFUND POLICY


We hope that every trip you book through the Aamcha Auto goes without issue but we understand that sometimes things happen. If a trip you take does not meet your expectations, you can share your feedback by rating your driver in the app and if you believe there was an error with your price or a more serious issue occurred on your trip, you can report it to our Support team. In some cases, your report may be covered by our Rider Refund Policy. We want you to know what to expect when you report issues, so we are sharing examples of when you may be eligible to receive a full or partial refund of the price you paid. If you have an issue on a trip, let us know within 30 days. All requests will be evaluated at Aamcha Auto’s sole discretion, and on a case-by-case basis. As a rider, its your responsibility to check the information provided is accurate and meets your expectations of quality. If you decide to take a trip, you are accepting the terms of service and are taking responsibility for the successful payment of that trip.


When am I eligible to receive a full or partial refund?

Resolving Your Request


You can submit a request for a refund or a general complaint about your ride to Aamcha Auto’s customer service team at support@aamchaauto.com or in the app within 30 days of encountering an issue. If we determine you are eligible, you should expect any refunds to be returned to your original payment method within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.


False Reports


We investigate each report. Providing inaccurate information about your trip experience when disputing fees or charges violates Aamcha Auto’s Community Guidelines and may result in your request being denied and / or your account being deactivated.
